Fresh Start in Education are looking for experienced and inspiring individuals to work on a one-to-one basis with young people who are marginalised from the mainstream education system. Schools don't have the resources, time or in some cases to provide the right support for these children and they often fall through the cracks.

It will take some incredible individuals to engage and teach these young people. Do you have what it takes?

Here are the basics:

  • You'll work 1:1 with young people on a 6-to-12 week placement basis
  • This is a Bank Staff contract and you're matched to students based on availability, location & experience
  • Placements are 2 to 5 days per week & the days remain the same for the placement's duration
  • Utilising your expertise, you'll plan & deliver bespoke learning programmes to young people across Surrey
  • The hourly rates are competitive and there's also an additional payment for your planning and reporting

  • Experience of working with young people who have SEN, particularly, ASD
  • A proven track record of delivering the Primary National Curriculum and core secondary subjects
