More and more young people today feel misunderstood and are becoming disengaged with education.
What can you do to help?
Fresh Start in Education needs you to help a 17-year-old male with ASD who is currently working at Early Years level. With your natural ability to inspire others and your creative approach to teaching, you will not only be able to help him re-engage with education but also grow his confidence in socialising.
What does the work entail?
*Working with this young male on a 1:1 basis for 9 hours a week.
*Delivering Early Years education to him.
*Building his life skills and social skills.
*Working as part of a Bank Staff contract, and, if suitable, you could be offered other similar opportunities in your area.
What do you need?
- At least 2 years’ experience of delivering Entry Level/ Early Years education.
*A minimum of 2 years teaching complex SEN students, particularly ASD.
*Be emotionally resilient and non-judgemental.
*A flexible approach in your delivery of education.
*The ability to deliver life skills and social skills.
*A clear commitment and knowledge of Safeguarding.

Who will you be working for?

Fresh Start in Education Ltd. specialise in providing bespoke educational packages for Children in Care, those with SEN, SEMH, EBD and those with multiple barriers to learning; with the end goal of supporting each student back into a long-term educational placement.
